Let’s learn to make soldered jewelry! In this six-hour workshop (with lunch break!), we will work through introductory information and safety, the basics of soldering for jewelry, and we’ll put our new skills to work on a set of stack rings.. We learn to use a torch for soldering, but so much more: ring sizing, stone setting, texturing, finishing and other techniques will be covered.

The “kit” cost will be an estimate and may change depending on choices you make during the workshop. The pictures are a close representation to what we will make, but the final product is subject to change.

This is a fun and popular class that practices hammering techniques on wire. It’s a great introduction to jewelry making because it covers several wire manipulation techniques. You’ll go home with two pairs of earrings and a hammered pendant on leather with a hand-made clasp. Plus, you’ll have a better grasp of important wire fundamentals.

Nov 21 Saturday, 9am - 1pm

These versatile earrings are not just good-looking, they are also fun and easy to make! This project offers a chance to practice many foundational bench skills and soldering techniques. You will saw, file, texture, solder, oxidize, finish, and learn stone setting.
