Fold-Formed Riveted Cuff Bracelet

$80.00

OCT 4, Saturday, 9am - 1pm

Learn three techniques in one project! First we'll explore various fold-forming techniques to create texture in metal. This includes the use of a torch. Then we'll learn how to rivet the textured sheet to a base (a "cold-connection") that we form into a gorgeous copper cuff. Everyone's piece will turn out different and you can choose what size to make. These fascinating cuff bracelets look a lot more complicated than they are and will open you up to lots of ideas to try! Pictures shown are of previous student work.

Level: Beginner-Intermediate Metal Work, no pre-requisite
Tools: Included
Materials: Not included,
Copper materials kit: $18, available for purchase at class, read more below

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT MATERIALS:

If a class has a materials kit associated with it, it is usually paid for and provided at the time of the class. Unless I hear otherwise, I assume you will be getting your materials from me.
Getting the kit from me is not required, and if you’d prefer to bring your own supplies, you MUST notify me within a week of the class (or sooner) so I can get you the materials list and answer any questions you might have. It also helps me prepare the correct number of kits ahead of the class.
